2010 Lennox After-Prom
Basketball Tournament

1. All rosters/waivers must be signed by coach, player & parent and turned in before your first
game. Limited to 10 players and 2 coaches.
2. There will be Two 18 minute Halves (Continuous running clock, except last 2 minutes
of 2nd Half.
3. 3 minute Halftime.
4. Two time outs per Half. One additional time out in overtimes.
5. Overtime will last 2 minutes.
6. A second overtime will be sudden death.
7. There will be no 3pt shots.
8. A team that is not ready to play 5 minutes after the scheduled time will forfeit.
9. Teams should be ready to play 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
10. No full court press after a 10-point lead.
11. All technical and intentional fouls will result in the automatic awarding of two points plus the
ball out of bounds.
12. The referees are in charge of the game. Coaches may talk with the referees during time-outs
and half time only. All referees decisions are final!
13. Should tournament be cancelled due to weather, the committee will retain $25 of the entry fee
to cover cost.
14. Should a team cancel by January 15th it will be up to the director’s discretion to refund the
entry fee.
15. Locker rooms will NOT be open. Leave valuables with your coach or parent. We are not
responsible for lost or stolen items.
16. Players may play up a grade; they may not play down. Players may play for one team only.
17. No organization or individual will be held responsible for any injury incurred.
18. Official women’s ball will be used in all divisions. No practice balls will be supplied.
19. No protest will be honored.
20. All jerseys must be numbered on the back, preferably on the front & back. Shorts must be
basketball style shorts, no cut-offs, etc. Should a team have two different colored tops,
please bring both colors.
21. Concessions will be available.
22.Teams will be notified the week of the tournament of times and places games will be played,
via e-mail.
23.No COOLERS allowed at any sites.
24.No Zone Defense for 4th graders
25.NO TOLERANCE for unsportsmanlike like conduct- anyone parent, fan, coach or player
displaying disrespect to officials or players will be asked to leave with no refunds granted.

Permission to Play and Waiver
I give permission for my child to play in the Lennox After-Prom Youth Basketball Tournament. I understand the Lennox After-Prom Club has no responsibility for my child’s medical expenses and well being. I assume all responsibility and waive any and all claims against the Lennox After-Prom Club and Lennox School should any injury occur to my child while attending this tournament.
